How to Video Call on the Echo Show 10

If you’ve got an Echo Show 10, you may be wondering how to video call on it. While this may be a fairly simple task, you may be surprised by the many ways it isn’t possible to do. Although it’s possible to cast video from your computer or phone to your Echo Show, you’ll have to use a different app to do so. Here are some options to try:

Firstly, go into the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet. Then, select the Communicate tab, and tap the video call icon. You’ll then receive audio alerts and notifications. Once you’ve accepted the call, the video call will begin. Once the video call begins, you’ll need to confirm that you want to continue the call by pressing the End button on the screen. Once the video call starts, you’ll be prompted to enter the other party’s name and contact number.

Another great feature of the Echo Show 10 is its touchscreen, which allows users to carefully select the contact they wish to video call. This is particularly useful if Alexa does not recognize the name of the person they’re calling. Simply swipe the right side of the screen towards the center, select Show Contacts, scroll down to the person you want to call, and then tap the video call icon. If you decide to end the video call, you can do so by tapping the red hang-up button.

Video calling on the Echo Show is possible through the Alexa app for iOS and Android devices. After installing the app, you’ll need to add the person’s contact to your Echo Show. After that, select the device from the list to complete the call. You can also use the Alexa app to hold group video calls of up to seven participants, or audio-only calls. Before you can start making video calls, you’ll need to set up the Alexa app and have all participants opt-in to the video calling service.
